Gen-V: the new series The Boys finally has a date
The start of the school year for Vought International students is scheduled for September 29.
No big trailer or crazy new images during Comic Con, which is currently being held in San Diego, but an official date: Gen Vthe new series The Boys, will launch on Prime Video on Friday, September 29. The first three episodes will go live first and then we’ll have 1 episode per week, until the epic Season 1 finale on Friday, November 3.

By the way, Amazon delivers the official synopsis: “The universe of The Boys gives birth to Gen Va new series set at Godolkin University, America’s only university exclusively for young adult superheroes (run by Vought International). Gen V explores the training of the first generation of superheroes to know Compound V and to know that their powers were injected into them rather than given to them by God. These young, competitive heroes put their physical and moral limits to the test, competing for the school’s coveted ranking. They quickly learn that ambition comes with sacrifice and that the difference between good and evil is not as obvious as they thought. When the university’s dark secrets come to light, the students must face the kind of heroes they will become.”
The cast will bring together young talents who will play new Supes: Jaz Sinclair, Chance Perdomo, Lizze Broadway, Shelley Conn, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh and Asa Germann. Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sean Patrick Thomas and Marco Pigossi Some faces of The Boys including Jessie T. Usher (A-Train), Colby Minifie (Ashley Barrett) and PJ Byrne (Adam Bourke) will reprise their roles in The Boys.
Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters are the showrunners of the series. Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldber are among the executive producers.
