Has Pedro Pascal already finished filming The Last of Us – season 2?
A month after the resumption, the interpreter of Joel would have completed all his scenes.
End of February, Pedro Pascal received, a little drunk but very happythe award for best actor in a drama series at the prestigious SAG Awards ceremony for his incarnation of Joel in The Last of Us. He had then just started filming the second season of the hit series, still headed by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann, with talented directors joining in to direct his new episodes, including Kate Herron Loki.
His young playing partner, Bella Ramseyhad shared a first photo from the set on January 25, surrounded by other members of the team, in Vancouver to announce the start of shooting. Barely healed from arm injuryPascal was conspicuously absent from this photo: once his tour of ceremonies was over, he joined his playing partners at the very end of February.

A month later, Hollywood reporter Daniel RPK assures in his newsletter that Pedro has already completed all his scenes. Does this mean he won't appear much in this sequel? Will his character at the heart of the first season quickly disappear? Difficult to speculate given that the creators of this adaptation have always repeated that they intended maintain a certain freedom in relation to video games who inspired the series. Joel's fate in the game will not necessarily be the same in the show. Not to mention that this premature end of filming for the actor has yet to be confirmed by HBO…
The article specifies, however, that Pedro Pascal should have a few months ahead of him to prepare for his role in Fantastic Four from Marvel, which should start shooting this summer. Until then, he has no other projects announced: the filming of Gladiator 2by Ridley Scott, is completed, and the spin-off film from his successful series The Mandalorian is not yet dated by Disney.
HBO also has no official plans to release Season 2 of The Last of Usbut as filming should continue for several more weeks, it should only be visible at the beginning of next year.
