House of the Dragon Season 2 Shows Alicent vs. Rhaenyra
The first official images leave no room for doubt: it will be war!
An eye for an eye, fire for fire… There will be revenge in the air in Westeros, in the highly anticipated season 2 of House of the Dragon. While waiting for the first teaser (possibly this weekend), we discover the first posters which make no mystery: the series will now be the confrontation between Alicent Hightower (Olivia Cooke) and Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D’Arcy).

“Blood for Blood” and “Fire to Fire” tell these two images, which pit the two ex-best friends from Kings Landing against each other. It must be said that the death of little Luke, sweet son of Rhaenyra, killed by Aemond, sociopathic offspring of Alicent (in the finale of season 1) will certainly be difficult to get over. Moreover, the exiled pretender to the Throne drops a small tear in this image, her face twisted in pain. Obviously, she will seek redress!
The Targaryens are torn apart more than ever and House of the Dragon, season 2, promises to be spectacular. We will see this in the summer of 2024 on HBO and in France on Prime Video via the Warner pass.
