The series has just been renewed. Exit expected in 2026.

Season 4, posted on February 5, was not the last. In the shade of the Magnolias will come back for a fifth season.

The announcement was made by Netflix this Wednesday, pile for World Book Day – a nod all found, since the series is adapted from the successful novels of Sherryl Woods, awarded several times to the New York Times.

In the shade of the Magnoliasit is above all the story of an indestructible friendship between Maddie (embodied by Joanna Garcia Swisher), Dana Sue (Brooke Elliott) and Helen (Heather Headley), three women juggling between family dramas, complicated loves and twists and turns in the small ultra-charming town of Serenityin South Carolina.

At the helm of this season 5, we will find Sheryl J. Anderson (Ties that bind) as an executive showrunner and producer, supported by Dan Paulson And Matt Drake (Chesapeake shores), while Norman Buckley will copilot the show. Production is ensured by Daniel L. Paulson Productions.
