The former journalist who has become a director will unveil his new feature film, The richest woman in the world,, out-of-competition in Cannes. Thierry Klifa revisit The Bettencourt affair with Isabelle Huppert Who embodies the main character, a fictitious version of Liliane Bettencourt. He will be released in the cinema on October 29, 2025.

The richest woman in the world is surely inspired by the Bettencourt affair, but with some freedoms. The new feature by Thierry Klifa focuses more on the intimate life of this woman and on the duo she formed with François-Marie Barnier. Marianne Farrère (Isabelle Huppert), owner of the Windler group, is the richest woman in the world. She meets a writer and photographer, Pierre-Alain Fantin (Laurent Lafitte), with whom she maintains a loving friendship that perplexes the family of the billionaire: his butler (Raphaël Personnaz) but also her heiress, Frédérique Spielman (Marina Foïs).
