James Bond: this very exciting rumor becomes serious

Has the saga 007, in the hands of a new duo of producers, already find its next director?

Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson ousted (against a billion dollars), James Bond Returns from the front within Amazon MGM Studios, the entity which now holds the rights of the franchise. And the company led by Jeff Bezos told producers Amy Pascal and David Heyman the heavy task of preparing Bond 26.

This new duo must of course choose the actor who will embody the famous agent on the screen, and therefore succeed Daniel Craig. But also a director capable of relaunching the saga. The name of Christopher Nolanwho has always dreamed of making a James Bond, has recently been mentioned. Amazon’s new management would be open to leaving the Director’s cut To a prestigious filmmaker, a sine qua non condition to recruit Nolan, which was not possible under the mandate of Broccoli and Wilson. Alfonso Cuaron recently gave a Master Class in Paris, and words reported by a expectation (who also works with a French distributor) have just given even more credit to this track. In equivocal comments, Cuaron seems to confirm that he is in negotiations to make the next James Bond.
