KPOP DEMON HUNTERS 2: When is the future?
Netflix is already preparing the rest of the biggest success in its history.

They fill stages with closed counters during the day, they track the demons at night: Rumi, Mira and Zoey, the superstars of the K-Pop, lead a double life in Kpop Demon Hunters. The summer phenomenon, produced by Sony and disseminated on Netflix, has turned into planetary success. To the point where Kpop Demon Hunters exceeded Red notice To become the most seen feature film in the history of streamer, with more than 236 million views. To this feat is added another record: the soundtrack simultaneously placed four titles in the Billboard Top 10, a first in the history of the Hot 100.
Faced with such a tidal wave, Netflix and Sony are already working to do Kpop Demon Hunters 2.
Talks to develop a suite are underway. In the columns of VarietyMaggie Kang, co -director of the film with Chris Appehans, confirms that she has already at the top of the slopes for a second part:
“We have installed a lot of elements from Backstory. Obviously, some questions remain unanswered and certain aspects were not explored in the first part, simply because we could not tell everything in 85 minutes. This first film was the story of Rumi, but we have narrative arcs ready for Zoey and Mira, who have not yet found their place.”
Sony has already entered into negotiations with Maggie Kang and Chris Appehans to take over the reins of the realization of this sequel, announces the American press.
Without a doubt, Kpop Demon Hunters will see the light of day, within one or two years.
