Liam Neeson's new action film will be called The Mongoose

“Mongoose” will be directed by the actor’s stunt double in Taken.

While waiting to move on to comedy to do it again Is there a cop?, Liam Neeson continues his mission in Hollywood. He is going to star in his umpteenth action film which is a post-Taken.

According to Deadline, the man who was Spielberg's Schindler in another life will be the star of The Mongoose (Mongoose in original version), a car chase film across the United States.

Liam Neeson will play a veteran who gets into a chase with the police after being falsely accused. “Ryan 'Fang' Flanagan, a war hero is accused of a crime he didn't commit. With nothing to lose, he leads the police on an epic cross-country televised chase, aided by by members of his former special forces armys,” the synopsis reads.

note that Mongoose will be directed by veteran stuntman Mark Vanselow, who was the stunt double for Liam Neeson in all his films Taken.

Production is expected to begin in January 2025 in Australia. No release date yet.
