Lost Ball – Alban Lenoir: “Don’t ask me to change a spark plug”
We were able to chat with the Netflix film team: director Guillaume Pierret and actors Alban Lenoir, Nicolas Duvauchelle and Stéfi Celma.
In June 2020, Netflix revealed Lost bulletthe first film of Guillaume Pierret, with Alban Lenoir, Nicolas Duvauchelle And Stefi Celma, a French action production which has become one of the platform's big hits. We are sharing this interview remotely during the rebroadcast of Lost Ball, at 9:05 p.m. on TFX.
We were able to discuss with the team about this effective thriller full of testosterone and roaring engines: a film which, by the team's own admission, could not have seen the light of day in the cinema, since “too gendered”. French action films are not really in fashion at the moment in French cinemas.
Obviously, everyone had a lot of fun crumpling metal and breaking (for fake) shins. They all seem up for a sequel (or even two!)… which has not failed: since this interview, Lost ball 2 actually saw the light of day, still on Netflix. A sequel “even more explosive” than her elder.
