Malcolm reunites with his brothers in this photo behind the scenes of the new series

Frankie Muniz reunites with his brothers Justin Berfield and Christopher Masterson!

Almost 20 years since we last saw them together like this!

Frankie Muniz shared a photo from filming the highly anticipated Malcolm sequel, showing the three brothers reunited, along with former costars Justin Berfield and Christopher Masterson, aka Reese and Francis.

“I was told not to post this yet, but then I remembered the credits. I’m just so excited for you to see the new episodes, and I missed my brothers,” the actor wrote on X — a nod to the cult song “You’re Not the Boss of Me Now” by the band They Might Be Giants.

Obviously, Dewey is missing from the photo, because Erik Per Sullivan has decided not to return (he hasn’t been an actor for a while) and will be replaced by Caleb Ellsworth-Clark, while Jamie, the youngest from the original series, is now played by Anthony Timpano. A newcomer will also join the siblings: Kelly (Vaughan Murrae), a non-binary child.

Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek reprise their legendary roles as Hal and Lois, alongside Craig Lamar Traylor (Stevie), Gary Anthony Williams (Abe Kenarban), Emy Coligado (Piama) and David Anthony Higgins (Craig Feldspar).

The sequel, titled Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair – an ironic nod to the opening chorus of the credits – will have four episodes and will arrive on Disney+ in 2026.
