Martin Freeman and Helena Bonham Carter in an Agatha Christie series on Netflix
The novel “The Seven Dials” will be brought to the screen by Chris Chibnall, the creator of “Broadchurch”.
As Kenenth Branagh continues to adapt Agatha Christie in films at the cinema, the famous British novelist will soon be available in a Netflix series.
An adaptation of the novel “The Seven Dials” (published in 1929) has just been ordered by the streamer and will be worn by the young Mia McKenna-Brucerevealed in the film How to Have Sex. She will respond to Helena Bonham Carter And Martin Freeman.
It is Chris Chibnallcreator of the detective series Broadchurch and ex-showrunner of Doctor Whowho will be at the helm of this adaptation.
Set in 1925 and described as a “witty, epic, fast-paced drama”, The Seven Dials happens during a “lavish party at a country house where a prank seems to have gone horribly and bloodily wrong. Ultimately, it's up to the most unlikely detective – the bubbly curious Lady Eileen “Bundle” Brent (McKenna-Bruce) – to unravel this chilling plot that will change her life, blowing the mystery of the country house wide open.” Helena Bonham Carter will play Lady Caterham and Martin Freeman will be Superintendent Battle.
