New Trailer and Images for Halo Season 2
Master Chief John-117 will return next month on Paramount+.
After a first trailer last month, season 2 of Halo is revealed in great detail with a long, breathtaking trailer, in which we find Master Chief John-117 (played by Pablo Schreiber) who leads his team of elite Spartans against the alien threat known as the Covenant.
The pitch: “Following a traumatic event on an abandoned planet, John can’t shake the feeling that his war is about to change and risks everything to prove what no one else will believe: that the Covenant is preparing to attack humanity’s greatest bastion. The galaxy is on the brink and John embarks on a journey to find the key to humanity’s salvation, or extinction: the Halo.”
Directed by David Wiener (Brave New World) as showrunner and executive producer, the series takes place in the universe that began in 2001 with the launch of the first Halo game on Xbox. It depicts an epic conflict in the 26th century between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant.
In the cast, Natascha McElhone plays the role of Dr. Halsey. Jen Taylor, Bokeem Woodbine, Shabana Azmi and Natasha Culzac complete the cast.
Season 2 of Halo will be seen on Paramount+ from Thursday February 8, 2024, with its first two episodes.
