Now You See Me 3 Reshuffles the Cards: Lionsgate Announces Cast and Release Date for New Instalment

The original band of magicians will return in a third installment scheduled for late 2025 in theaters.

Eight years ago, the second part ofElusivewhich continued the magical adventures of the Four Horsemen that began in 2013. Since then, the project seemed to have been shelved, even though the screenwriter Eric Warren Singer announced that it was working on a sequel (despite the reluctance of Lionsgate studio) a few years ago.

This time it’s done, the project is well launched. Soon to be brought to the screen by the director Ruben Fleischer – which thus replaces Louis Leterrier busy on the saga Fast and Furiousand Jon M. Chu, who directed the second installment before taking on Wicked in two parts – the script has been finalized by Eric Warren Singer. While Lionsgate has not yet communicated an official synopsis or the date of filming, the studio has set itself a very concrete goal: to release this new film by November 14, 2025.

This is not the only information that Lionsgate executives have decided to leak. We know thatElusive 3 will see come back Isla Fisher in the role of Henley Reeves, thus reforming the quartet originally from the first part of the saga. The actress had been replaced by Lizzy Caplan and her character, Lulu May, because she was pregnant at the time of the film’s production.

No Daniel Radcliffe in sight either, who had nevertheless marked as the big bad guy in the second film, but Jesse Eisenberg will return to lead the dance in the role of the seducer-prestidigitator Daniel Atlas, flanked by his two companions, Woody Harrelson And Dave Franco (Merritt McKinney and Jack Wilder in the movies). Mark Ruffalointroduced in Elusive 1 as Dylan Rhodes, and then, in 2, as Dylan Shrike, will also reprise his role.

Some new faces are joining the party: Justice Smith (Pokémon: Detective Pikachu, The Get Down), Dominic Sessa (Winter Break), Ariana Greenblatt (Barbie, 65: The Earth Before), but also the great Rosamund Pikelast seen in Saltburna huge success among young people.

More than a year has passed since the film was released in theaters, but it is certain that the studio will soon give more information about the content of this new project.
