One year after the Ninja Turtles film, a new cartoon is revealed: trailer

Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be available this summer on Paramount+.

Last summer, the Ninja Turtles had made a notable return to the cinema with Ninja Turtles: Teenage Years (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem in VO), replaying the story of Leonardo and co in a modern context, both in substance and in form. With $180 million in worldwide box office revenue and excellent reviews, the film reignited the hype around tetrapods.

So much so that a new series is announced today. Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reveals its first glimpse with this short trailer, which confirms the continuation of the style:

“The Turtles will be challenged like never before as Leo, Raph, Donnie and Mikey go it alone for the first time,” reads the official synopsis for the series. “Facing new threats and teaming up with old allies, the Turtles will discover who they really are without their brothers at their side.”

Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles takes place in the same universe as the film Ninja Turtles: Teenage Years. And in the vocal cast, we will find (in original version) Micah Abbey in the role of Donatello, Shamon Brown Jr. in the role of Michelangelo, Nicolas Cantu in the role of Leonardo, Brady Noon in the role of Raphael and Ayo Edebiri in the role of April O'Neil. James Sie will also star in the series as Splinter.

Series Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will premiere this summer on Paramount+.
