Paradise: when will we see season 3 on Disney +?

Filming for the final season will begin soon.

After the explosive finale of season 2, we are already on alert: when will we see the sequel to Paradise on Disney+?

As of yet, no official release date has been announced. But one thing is certain: the machine is on its way. Creator Dan Fogelman confirmed to the LA Times that filming for season 3 will begin in April 2026, with production scheduled to begin on April 7.

A calendar which gives hope for a shorter wait than the previous one. Season 2 arrived about 13 months after the first, and Fogelman clearly shows his ambition: to go even faster this time. “My instinct, with this series as with the others, is that the sooner we get them back on the air, the better it is for the series and for the audience.”

In other words, if everything goes well, an early 2027 release for season 3 of Paradise seems entirely possible.

Especially since this season 3 will not be a simple sequel. It will be the last. The end. The conclusion of the story of Xavier and this devastated world.

Screenwriter John Hoberg confirms in EW: Fogelman’s plan was always to tell a story over three seasons, with a “pretty definitive” finale to wrap it all up.

Spoiler alert!

And everything will start from the dilemma left unresolved at the end of season 2. Xavier Collins, played by Sterling K. Brown, received a mission from Sinatra: reach the second bunker, under the Denver airport, and activate Alex. But is he really going to go there?

“When you look at where all the characters are, it all comes down to this question: is he going to accept?”, teases Hoberg. “Does he really believe in what Sinatra is trying to do? Is she acting for good… or is she simply guided by her grief? Is this machine really working the way she thinks it does?”

So many doubts which will structure the entire home stretch:

“Xavier has a mission. And the real question is: will he follow through? And what will be the consequences, whether he accepts… or refuses?”
