Poker Face: Season 2 has a date and a crowd of prestigious guest stars
Cynthia Erivo, Katie Holmes and Justin Theroux will face Natasha Lyonne this year in the criminal series.
After an expectation of more than two years, Poker face Finally comes back with a second season which promises even more mysteries and creaky humor. Peacock unveiled the first official images of this new salve of episodes, offering an overview of the return of Natasha Lyonne In the role of Charlie Cale, the detective in spite of herself who has an infallible gift to identify lies. His interpretation had earned her an appointment to the Emmy Awards in the best actress category in a comic series.
In this season 2, Charlie “Continues his journey through the United States, crossing new characters and resolving improbable crimes on his way” promises the synopsis. The tone remains faithful to the Mystery-of-The-Week spirit which made the success of the series, with independent investigations, but always connected by the red thread of the Cavale de Charlie.
Creators Rian Johnson And Natasha Lyonne Promise ever more varied sets: from baseball terrains to minor league to supermarkets, including funeral houses, alligators and even a show in a primary school! All sprinkled with this humor pincer-rire and this empathy which make Charlie’s charm.
Visually, this new season draws its inspiration from American cinema of the 70s, with references assumed to directors like Robert Altman, Bob Rafelson and Peter Bogdanovich. But Poker face remains above all a tribute to the cult series of the past, in line with Columbo Or Quantum codewith episodes that work like real mini-films, each with their own atmosphere.

Season 2 of Poker face will land in the spring of 2025 on Peacock in the USA with a total of 12 episodes of an hour each. The series is to be seen in France on TF1+.
