Samuel L. Jackson and Sylvester Stallone finally reunited on set

Two Hollywood movie legends for one crown.

They have never crossed paths on screen in five decades of career!

Samuel L. Jackson and Sylvester Stallone finally meet on a film set. The two legends are currently reunited to film Frisco King, a Tulsa King spin-off, now in full production for Paramount+. The first images from the shoot have just been revealed, confirming the launch of the project.

Filming began in late March in North Texas and is scheduled to continue through July. Several cities serve as settings, including Fort Worth, Dallas, Plano, Frisco, Keller, Denton and Southlake.

Behind-the-scenes footage released shows the two actors in costume, working on their scenes between takes, alongside director Christina Alexandra Voros. Stallone accompanied the publication with a message: “From one King to another… Frisco King is now in production!”

A filming video also allows you to hear the exchanges between the two stars. Sylvester Stallone tells Samuel L. Jackson:

“Sam, we’re here to launch your new series.” To which he humorously responds: “Frisco King… am I a king yet? I’m working on it.”

Stallone is full of praise for his partner: “Our first scene together is already fantastic. It’s going to be an exceptional series. He’s spectacular in it. Don’t miss it!”

The series will expand the Tulsa King universe, with Jackson playing Russell Lee Washington Jr., a hitman character already introduced in the original series. The project is written by Taylor Sheridan, who penned all eight episodes of season 1. Frisco King is currently scheduled for release in 2027.
