Cassie Lang, Ant-Man’s Daughter, Will Be in Avengers: Doomsday

Kathryn Newton officially announced it herself on her networks.

She is one of the spearheads of the Young Avengers that the MCU has been developing for several years around Miss Marvel and Kate Bishop: Cassie Lang, the daughter of Ant-Man, will be good in Avengers: Doomsday.

Actress Kathryn Newton confirmed on Instagram that she will reprise her role. The 29 star last appeared in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (in 2023).

In a video published on her networks, she unpacks a box containing a chair with her name on it, with the film logo. A clever way to use the method used by Marvel to tease the return of its heroes. “She’s short because Cassie Lang is getting short.”jokes Ant-Girl.

An ultimately unsurprising return. The trailer unveiled at CinemaCon already showed Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) kissing his daughter, implicitly confirming her presence. Cassie should therefore follow in her father’s footsteps… and also move to the side of the miniature heroes.

Facing them, a major threat: Doctor Doom, played by Robert Downey Jr. in villainous version.

The cast promises to be massive, including Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Black Panther (Letitia Wright), Shang-Chi (Simu Liu), Professor X (Patrick Stewart), Magneto (Ian McKellen) and Gambit (Channing Tatum).

Directing, we will find Anthony Russo and Joe Russo, already at the helm of Avengers: Infinity War And Avengers: Endgame.

Avengers: Doomsday will be released on December 16, 2026 in cinemas in France.
