Peter Parker has grown up. But he grew up alone. Far from his friends. Four years after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Homethe young weaver played by Tom Holland is still trying to rebuild his life after having erased himself from the memory of all those close to him. According to the official synopsis, the young hero now lives in New York alone, and devotes himself entirely to his vigilante mission. A full-time activity which will, however, have serious consequences.
The new trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day unveiled by Sony and Marvel shows Spider-Man pushed to his limits, to the point of gradually losing control of his powers. A mysterious physical evolution, which strongly resembles a certain genetic mutation, will even threaten his existence, while a new wave of crimes brings out one of the most formidable enemies he has ever faced…
But it is above all the images of a confrontation with the Hulk that attract attention. Faced with the green giant played by Mark Ruffalo, Peter will try to resist… He will also cross paths with the Punisher (Jon Bernthal) to find shelter, while he will try to win back MJ…
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film marks the return of Tom Holland in the role of Peter Parker. Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Mark Ruffalo, Jon Bernthal and Michael Mando also reprise their characters.
Newcomers include Sadie Sink, Tramell Tillman, Liza Colón-Zayas and Marvin Jones III, whose roles are still under wraps.
The previous trailer had already created an event by becoming the first in history to exceed one billion views. Posted online on March 17, it reached this figure in just four days, having already accumulated more than 718 million views in 24 hours.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be released in French theaters on July 29, 2027.
