Suits is still very popular in the USA, so a new series will see the light of day

Creator Aaron Korsh is working on a spinoff, already on track to be ordered by NBCUniversal.

Is this the effect Meghan Markle ? It has already been four years since Suits is finished. And yet, the legal series continues to be a hit, dominating the streaming rankings in the United States (established by the Nielsen institute). The series is still as popular as ever so NBCUniversal has decided to ride the wave and has just launched development of a new series Suits.

The creator of the original series, Aaron Korsh is working on a new iteration of the phenomenon, which will not quite be a reboot, nor a direct sequel. Basically, he would go on a spin-off taking place in the universe of Suits and revolving around new characters in a new location (maybe Los Angeles).

The official order would be imminent. It remains to be seen whether one or more members of the original cast would be tempted by a return in Suits. It will be recalled that Suits has already been entitled to a spin-off series, centered on Jessica Pearson, in the political world of Chicago and carried by the actress Gina Torres. It was canceled after just one season.
