The Agency: Where is season 2?

Like the legendary office, the US remake will spread out on several seasons.

Adapted from the French series The legendary officethere will be a season 2 of The Agency.

While Canal Plus finishes the broadcast of season 1 today, the Paramount studio has already launched the shooting of season 2 in London, with the return of the original casting, led by Michael Fassbender And Jeffrey Wright.

The German-Irish actor embodies Martian, a CIA agent taken between field life, state lies and burning passions.

Season 1 ended on a dramatic stroke: Samia (embodied by Jodie Turner-Smith), lover and contact by Martian in the Middle East, was arrested during an operation that went wrong. The new narrative arc will focus on Martian’s desperate attempt to save her, while retaining his cover and his freedom of action within the agency.

The series, created by Jez and John-Henry Butterworth, retains its showrunners for this new salve of episodes. Fassbender and Wright continue to get involved as executive producers, alongside an impressive team: George Clooney And Grant Heslov (via their Smokehouse Pictures company), but also Keith Cox,, Nina L. Diaz,, David C. Glasser And Ron Burkle.

The first shooting photos unveiled by Paramount+ show Fassbender and Turner-Smith, scripts in hand, in full rehearsal of episode 1. The rest of the cast is also confirmed: Jeffrey Wright will resume his role as Henry, the direct boss of Martian, John Magaro that of Owen, operations officer, Katherine Waterston will always play Naomi, Martian’s liaison officer, Richard Gere will return to station in London, and Pallavi Sharda will embody Blair again, an infiltrated ex-agent.

No broadcast date announced yet, but season 2 of The Agency is expected 2026 on Paramount+ in the USA and still Canal more in France.
