The ecclesiastical atmosphere of The Curse: The Origin imposes a tone that is dark to say the least, despite the gilding of the stained glass windows of the Italian Church to which an American woman (Nell Tiger Free, seen in Servant, Game Of Thrones Or Too Old to Die Young). The young woman’s faith is put to the test. The latter will have to deal with this remaining doubt, the darkness threatens to interfere in her virtuous journey.

First production ofArkasha Stevenson, The Curse: The origin is the prequel to The curse (1976) Richard Donner. A film where the main character, a United States ambassador to London, Robert Thorn, realizes that his five-year-old son, Damien, is none other than the reincarnation of the antichrist. In the casting of the prequel, we will find Ralph Ineson, Charles Dance And Bill Nighy.

The Curse: The Origin will be released in cinemas on April 10, 2024.
