The fate of Nismt, not to be missed tonight on Arte (critic)

Winner of the Best Series Prize at the Last Fiction of Fiction in La Rochelle, she follows the brutal fate of a 16 -year -old teenager. Nismt lives with his depressed mother and a violent stepfather. To flee this potential sexual predator, Nismt decides to run away. Placed in a home, she will do everything so as not to be destroyed and build her life, despite everything.
Navigating in the social assistance system for childhood, showing without make -up or violin a reality that we only discover only through the news, Nismt is taken from a true story (that of Nismt Hrehorchuk) and looks at himself as a plea for resilience. Philippe Faucon chose a hyper-realistic staging with sometimes supported demonstrative accents. A demanding naturalistic painting of a dramatic, edifying, but never miserable life course, which prefers to emphasize the courage and the strength of Nismt.
