The new Big Bang Theory series on Stuart has a funny title

What will be the place of comics in this umpteenth spin-off?

We do not yet know what will bring Stuart back into the world of Big Bang Theorybut the future derivative series now has a title: according to Deadline, it will be called Stuart fails to save the universethat one could translate into French by Stuart fails to save the universe.

A title that echoes the superheroic obsessions of the owner of the Pasadena comic strip shop. To what extent will the comics take a place in the series?

All we know for the moment is that Stuart Bloom, the loser embodied by Kevin Sussmanwill be back in the skin of the first role, surrounded by John Ross Bowie (Barry Kripke), Brian Posen (Bert) and by Lauren Lapkus (Denise) who played her girlfriend at the end of Big Bang Theory.

As announced previously, the screenwriter Zak Penn (known for Avengers, Ready Player One, Free Guy) will write the pilot script in collaboration with the co-creators of the original series, Chuck Lorre And Bill Prady.

This potential project, which has not yet received an official order, would be the fourth entry into the world of TBBTAfter The Big Bang Theory (2007-2019), the prequelle series Young Sheldon (2017-2024) and the spin-off of Young Sheldon,, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriagelaunched in 2024 and which will arrive in France on Max on Thursday, April 3.
