The new film Jack Ryan unveils his first photo

John Krasinski will resume the role of the CIA analyst for this new film, signed Andrew Bernstein, director of the Prime Video series.

“”I am delighted to be back ! “The sexiest man on the planet in 2024 is recovering into the costume of the hero of the CIA created by Tom Clancy. The character of Jack Ryan will return to the cinema, a decade after the release of The Ryan Initiative from Kenneth Branagh (2014), where he was embodied by Chris Pine.

This time, it’s John Krasinski Who will play the CIA analyst for this new feature film produced by Amazon MGM Studios. The shooting has officially started on the side of Dubai, as evidenced by this first official photo.

This sixth film Jack Ryan will be very different from the previous ones (those with Harrison Ford in particular) since the derivative franchise transposes Krasinski from the small to the big screen. Indeed, the former The Office Has already played the role for several years in a serial version which resumed the whole story to zero. Four seasons have already been broadcast and the show Jack Ryan ranks in the top 3 of the most seen series in the world on the platform!

Wendell Piercewho plays James Greer, CIA agent, in the series, will also be playing in the film, while Michael Kellywhich plays Mike November, station manager in Caracas, is in negotiations to also resume his role.

Which asked the question: will we have to have seen the 30 episodes of the series Jack Ryan To go see the new film indoor? Will history be a direct sequel?

First element of response: Andrew Bernsteinwho was executive producer and director of season 2, will make the film from a script written by Aaron Rabinscreenwriter of season 4.
