The new Freebox offer focuses on streaming
For less than 60 euros, subscribers will have access to Netflix, Canal+, Prime Video or even Disney+.
Since the revolution of streaming platforms, services and subscriptions have multiplied. Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, Canal+, Paramount+, SVOD platforms have mushroomed, further multiplying the offerings of original and heritage content.
Xavier Niel, the boss of Free, presented the new Freebox Ultra this week, which will combine several streaming services in a single subscription at a price intended to be as attractive as possible. By taking separate subscriptions to several platforms, plus an internet subscription, the package could climb up to 140 euros per month.

From now on, for 49.99 euros per month for one year, then 59.99 euros per month, the Freebox Ultra allows you to obtain the Canal+ channel live, TV by Canal, Disney+ (with advertising), Netflix (also with advertising) , Prime Video and Universal+. And yes, take note of the services with advertising in the case of Netflix and Disney+, because even the competitive rate has a price.
This is the first time that the Canal+ channel has been distributed free of charge by a telecom operator. Subscribers will be able to obtain these services directly in their subscription whereas they were additional options in the previous configuration.
The platform war rages and intensifies as each channel or Hollywood major decides to create its exclusive content offering. In this context, this new offer comes at the same time as the major services have announced price increases for the year 2024 and/or the launch of a service with advertisements.
