First images of the new serial killer by Ryan Murphy: Ed Gein

After Dahmer and Lyle and the Menendez brothers, the criminal saga of Ryan Murphy continues.

Netflix has just unveiled the first images of monster, season 3, which will focus on the story of Ed Gein. Exit set for October 3 on Netflix.

This third season of the anthology created by Murphy and Ian Brennan features Charlie Hunnam in the skin of the sadly famous serial killer of the Wisconsin.

Netflix has also published a series of posters highlighting the actor, expected in an icing role.

The official synopsis sums up as follows: “Serial killer. Tombs thief. Psychopath. In the frozen plains of the rural Wisconsin of the 1950s, an affable hermit named Eddie Gein lived discreetly in a dilapidated farm – hiding a horror house so macabre that she was going to redefine the American nightmare. Isolated, psychotic and obsessed with his mother, Gein committed perverse crimes that have given birth to a new type of monster, haunting Hollywood for decades. From psychosis to the chainsaw, including the silence of the lambs, the macabre heritage of Gein inspired the most famous fictitious monsters and shaped a whole section of horror cinema. Ed Gein has not only influenced a genre: he became the archetype. »»

Alongside Charlie Hunnam, the cast includes Tom Hollander, Laurie Metcalf, Suzanna Son, Vicky Krieps, Olivia Williams, Lesley Manville, Joey Pollari, Charlie Hall, Tyler Jacob Moore, Mimi Kennedy, Will Brill and Robin Weiger.

Netflix has also confirmed that a fourth season of monster is already in preparation. She will return to the Lizzie Borden affair, accused of the murder of her father and mother-in-law, with Ella Beatty in the main role.
