The new series The Office will bring back Oscar Martinez

The actor Oscar Nuñez will resume his role in the Spin-Off suite, entitled The Paper.

Production wanted to keep the fans secret on the day of the first episode of The Paper. But Oscar’s return was leaked to the American press.

Oscar Nuñez will resume his role as Oscar Martinez, the cult accountant of The Officein the rest of the series being filmed for the Peacock platform. The Paper (This is its title for the moment) will follow the employees of a Midwest in a disappearance newspaper, which publisher will try to relaunch thanks to volunteer journalists. It will be “filmed”, so to speak, by the same filming team which immortalized the Dunder Mifflin branch in Scran. Which could explain how Oscar will find himself there and make the link between The Office And this spin-off suite.

We already knew that The Paper would take place in the world of The Office. This could suggest that other old faces of Dunder Mifflin will come to pass a head (Angela could visit her friend Oscar, with her husband Dwight, right?).

According to some sources, Oscar Martinez will not be the central character of the new sitcom mockumentarybut he will be part of the mixture of characters in the series (as in The Office) and appears in the starting script. We do not know more, but we guess that he could still be the accountant of the newspaper.
