Vought rising will take place in the 1950s and will bring Jensen Ackles back to Soldier Boy.
While The Boys will end next year and Season 2 of Gen V will be released in a few weeks, Prime Video is preparing the production of a new series derived from the Homelander universe. It will be called Vought Rising, and it will take place before the domination of the protector, at the time of the all -powerful Soldier Boy. It will be a prequel series and the shooting must begin this month.
Among the actors who today join the casting before the starting clap, we find Jorden Myrie (Sherwood, The Strays, Bridgerton), Nicolò Pasetti (Industry, Belcanto, Cuori), Ricky Staffieri (The Bear) and Brian J. Smith (Sense8, Class of ’09). They join Will Hochman and Elizabeth Posey, already announced
We do not yet know who they will play, but they will meet Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash. The two stars crossed in The Boys will resume in the spin-off their emblematic roles of Soldier Boy and Stormfront (alias Clara Vought).
