The new Witcher “in mutation” offers a new warlike trailer
Will the series explain the hero’s face change in Liam Hemsworth?
“I feel a change taking place on the continent,” warns Yennefer, strongly, in the freshly revealed trailer of season 4 of The Witcher.
Yes, each camp is preparing to move its pawns in a war that promises to be decisive. And above all, Geralt de Riv also moved: he is now embodied by Liam Hemsworth. We have known for three years already that Henry Cavill preferred to pass the sword after three seasons and each fan will have a different opinion on the new head which is now under the hood of the witchman.
The trailer suggests at one point that the series could assume this major change, with the evocation of a Geralt “in full change” and “which has become something new”. Is it just a coarse metaphor for recasting or has the series planned a scriptwriting twist that would explain this face change?
In any case, this trailer also shows Geralt and Yennefer bringing together an army to save Ciri and face once and for all Vilgefortz. Finally … not quite once and for all: a fifth and last season is already in the pipes!
The official synopsis says more: “After the events that upset the continent in season 3, Geralt, Yennefer and Ciri find themselves separated by a devastating war and countless enemies. While their paths diverge and their goals are refined, they cross unexpected allies, ready to join their fight. And if they accept these new families, they could have a chance to find themselves Good.”
The Witcher Season 4 will be available on October 30 on Netflix.
