The Pitt season 3: Robby makes his comeback in the trailer

The doctor played by Noah Wyle is back on duty for a new shift which still promises to be particularly intense.

The holidays are over!

Same for Dr. Robby. It’s time to return to service. HBO has just unveiled the first trailer for season 3 of The Pitt, expected in January 2027. And for this new chapter, makes his grand return to the hospital after three months of sabbatical leave.

“I knew my first day back was going to be… difficult, given what we’re going through here. And I knew it could get a little crazy. But it’s time to get back to it,” Noah Wyle announces in voiceover in the trailer. We will recall that at the end of season 2, he left his emergency room for a big motorcycle road trip. He will therefore return behind the white coat.

And obviously, Robby won’t really have time to get his bearings again. The images show medical staff confronted with a succession of seriously injured patients, screams, cardiac massages and increasingly chaotic situations. Robby also must comfort a loved one after terrible news, while a man smashes his head against a hospital door and another patient tries to free himself from his restraints on a gurney.

Alongside Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch, we will find the same cast, composed of Patrick Ball (Dr. Langdon), Katherine LaNasa (Dana Evans), Fiona Dourif (Dr. McKay), Taylor Dearden (Dr. King), Isa Briones (Dr. Santos), Gerran Howell (Dr. Whitaker), Sepideh Moafi (Dr. Al-Hashimi), Shawn Hatosy (Dr. Abbot).
