The Witcher is going to end! Season 5 will be the last
While season 4 is currently filming, Netflix is planning the end of its successful series.
Liam Hemsworth won't be Geralt of Rivia for long. While he is currently succeeding Henry Cavill on the set of season 4 of The Witcher, we hear that Netflix will end its fantasy hit very soon. The streamer announced that it had ordered season 5, which will be the last and will mark the end of the series.

In this short video showing the cast preparing for season 4, we see Hemsworth and Anya Chalotra getting ready to go on set, while the producers announce that “this final season will allow the epic series to have a fitting conclusion.“
In other words, this early renewal for the final season allows the team to The Witcher to anticipate an end worthy of the name. Seasons 4 and 5 will cover Andrzej Sapkowski's three remaining novels, “The Baptism of Fire”, “The Swallow's Tower” and “The Lady of the Lake”.
For the moment, we do not know when season 4 of The Witcher (certainly in 2025). The end of the story is therefore not for now.
