To Beautiful Day: What is “Joaquin Phoenix’s” Taxi Driver “is worth? (critical)

Joaquin Phoenix in American psycho (Wink Hitchcock), we first ask to see. The actor is imagined here as a completely hammer cleaner (his favorite weapon), Catagan, cap, hood (the three ca, one too much) and huge beard in gradient towards salt. Joaquin takes the frame as a Russian actor (thick, beef, flask and hard at the same time) and Lynne Ramsay The horizontal framework, multiplies lateral travelings and panoramic, except in a scene of unstructured attack (sound that derails, surveillance cameras at the corners of the ceilings) in a club select of meetings between political cadors and girls in undressed at night, supposed to give its dramatic (and moral) context to the film.

Between Driver taxi With a hammer in the mouth and Bronsonade Art House, we follow a trip in the trauma psyche of a poor guy persecuted by life, images – and desires – of dead head. Will he skip his brain or suffocate the plastic bag? But why not both? The reunion between Phoenix and Jonny Greenwood (Music of PTA films) are more than an index, a confession – and the key to the vellarity aesthetic positioning of the project. If there were “Pitchfork cinema”,, A Beautiful Day It would be the prototype +++, the ideal student, note 9.6/10, playing on fragmentation, breaks, disturbances, loss of meaning (space, time, reason) because art, c ‘ is thus, must be disharmonious, arrhythmical, smashed and hallucinatory, as in a film by Nicolas Roeg (master, model and horizon) badly imitated. At the limit of pastiche and caricature (therefore parody), we found the Only God Forgives 2017. Details that we do not see a compliment there.

Is there a problem Joaquin Phoenix in Hollywood?
