Tom Cruise makes a surprise visit to the set of the new series NCIS
The Hollywood superstar stopped by to say hello to young Gibbs from NCIS: Origins…
Strange mission for Tom Cruise yesterday, but mission accomplished!
The actor popped onto the set of NCIS: Origins, the spinoff series that chronicles Gibbs’ younger years. A priori, it is not to play in the series (we can imagine the contract that would require…). But the 62-year-old actor made a surprise appearance on the set, while he was in the Paramount studios. The American giant, producer of Mission: Impossible, is one of Tom Cruise’s privileged partners, and history does not tell why they had a meeting…
In any case, it’s not a trip for nothing, since he made a good promotion at NCISVerse.
The official account revealed the visit on Instagram: “While at Paramount Studios, Tom Cruise stopped by the set of NCIS: Origins to say hello!”
A visibly unforeseen meeting, even if the representatives of the series have not yet commented on the event.
Series lead actor Austin Stowell, who plays young Gibbs, shared a photo on his Instagram Story captioned “Gibbs & Hunt: NCIS Mission Impossible,” while co-showrunner David J. North posted a photo referring to a “special FaceTime appearance by Emilio Estevez.”
This surprise visit comes at just the right time: season 2 of NCIS: Origins has just started on CBS.
NCIS: Origins airs every Tuesday at 9 p.m. on CBS in the USA. No broadcaster in France yet.
