Netflix adapts another successful manga, Yu Yu Hakusho (trailer)
After the success of the live-action adaptation of One Piece, the platform is exploiting the vein.
Netflix has just revealed the trailer of its upcoming live-action adaptation of a new manga. After the success of One Piecethe platform tackles Yu Yu Hakusho. Created in 1990 by Yoshihiro Togashi (to whom we owe Hunter x Hunter), the manga was first adapted into an anime, broadcast between 1992 and 1994. Yu Yu Hakusho is a fantastic story that tells the story of Yûsuke Urameshi, a brawling thug, terror of his school, who dies one day suddenly while saving a little boy from an accident.
His unexpected death upsets the balance of the kingdom of the dead and the living, because his sacrifice was not planned. Faced with a procedural flaw in the afterlife, Yûsuke is therefore authorized to return to life. But there is a counterpart to this resurrection: the young man becomes a detective of the spirit world, at first without being aware of it. Endowed with astral powers, including his famous Spirit Gun technique (reigun in Japanese) he then experiences all kinds of paranormal and supernatural adventures in the company of his friend Kazuma Kuwabara.
