Troll 2 reveals a very exciting trailer
The Norwegian Netflix phenomenon is back.
It’s a Norwegian phenomenon that crushed everything in its path in 2022.
Three years later, Troll remains the most popular foreign (non-English) film in Netflix history, with 103 million views. And its sequel should still be very strong. The trailer has just been released (below) and reveals a new troll who has awakened… Nora, Andreas and Captain Kris will go back on a mission and delve into ancient history to find answers. Will they succeed in triumphing over adversity and saving Norway from darkness?
The official synopsis states: “When a dangerous new troll awakens and wreaks havoc across Norway, loyal adventurers Nora, Andreas and Captain Kris find themselves facing a mission more perilous than ever. To defeat this destructive creature and discover its secrets, they will need to surround themselves with new allies and explore the ancestral history of the country. But time is running out, and as the monster wreaks more and more havoc, our heroes’ fight to save their people from darkness looks more complicated than ever.”
Still directed by Roar Uthaug, Troll 2 will arrive on December 1 on Netflix.
