Very romantic trailer for the Outlander prequel: Blood of My Blood

While season 7 ofOutlander ends today, the American channel Starz reveals what awaits fans this summer: a new spin-off series, Outlander: Blood of My Bloodwhich will go back (a little further) into the past.

The new series will follow Jamie’s parents, Scottish Ellen MacKenzie (played by Harriet Slater) and Brian Fraser (Jamie Roy), as well as Claire’s parents, the British Julia Moriston (Hermione Corfield) and Henry Beauchamp (Jeremy Irvine).

“The series will focus on these two parallel love stories set in two different eras, with Jamie’s parents in the Scottish Highlands of the early 18th century and Claire’s parents in World War I England.”we can read in the official synopsis.

A great romantic story, therefore, of which we discover the first historical and epic images.

The showrunner ofOutlanderMatthew B. Roberts, will be the showrunner and executive producer of this prequel. Season 1 will consist of 10 episodes. Broadcast announced for this summer on Starz. We do not yet know who will broadcast in France. Outlander will end next year with season 8.
