Netflix unveils a new video that teases the end of the Stranger Things adventure

We know how long the grand finale of Stranger Things will last

Will the final episode be the longest of the entire series?

The end of Stranger Things is coming. Netflix has confirmed that cinemas will screen the latest episode of the series. And we know which ones.

According to the streaming service, this finale of the global hit will be shown in more than 500 theaters across the United States and Canada starting December 31 at 5 p.m. PT and running until January 1, 2026.

The full list of participating theaters is available at www.st5finale.com, which also provides instructions for registering. Places will not be sold as traditional tickets; exhibitors will offer catering vouchers, guaranteeing fans a place at the screening. The revenue will therefore go to the owners of the theaters. Netflix-owned theaters will not sell tickets or vouchers, but fans can register via the RSVP list.

The announcement of the theatrical screening was made in October, after the Duffer brothers expressed their wish to see the finale shown in theaters in an interview for Variety.

Incidentally, we learn the official duration of this last episode: “The Rightside Up” will last exactly 2 hours and 5 minutes. That’s an XXL length for a series episode, but it won’t be the longest in the history of Stranger Things, since the finale of season 4, “The Piggyback”, was actually 2h19!

In any case, French fans will have to wait for the release on Netflix at 2 a.m. on January 1. No film projects in France are planned for the moment.
