Werewolves: Netflix announces a sequel with Jamel Debbouze
Werewolves: Renaissance has even just started filming.
Two years later, Netflix is launching a new part. But without Franck Dubosc or Jean Reno.
New casting and new story: Werewolves 2 has just started filming in the Czech Republic, with Jamel Debbouze headlining.
After bringing together 6 million spectators around his Marsupilami this year in theaters, it will bring a new troupe of time travelers with Fred Testot, Alice Dufour, Alexandra Roth, Monica Bellucci and Alban Ivanov.
The pitch: “Brought together for a wedding, four childhood friends find themselves thrown into 1515, in the Thiercelieux of the Renaissance, at the heart of a new game of life-size Werewolves. If they want to return home, they will have to master their new powers, unmask the opposing team, but above all face an ancestral enemy who threatens their lives… and their friendship.”
We reshuffle the cards.

Already present in the first part, in the skin of Childéric Vassier (Dubosc’s ancestor), Jonathan Lambert will be back and should be the link between the two stories.
This sequel will officially be called Werewolves: Rebirth and does not yet have a release date.
François Uzan is back to direct and write the screenplay, still inspired by the cult game The Werewolves of Thiercelieuxcreated by Philippe des Pallières and Hervé Marly, published by Zygomatic.
