Wicked 2 has changed its title

But what will the sequel be called?

While Wicked continues to be a hit at the box office, all over the world, Universal is preparing the sequel, already filmed. Wicked: Part 2 is scheduled for a cinema release in France on November 26, 2025.

And Universal Pictures just changed the title. The sequel will now be called Wicked: For Good. The film, which will tell the second act of the Broadway show, does not yet have its French title, which could simply be Wicked: For Good.

For now, the first part has totaled almost $600 million in revenue worldwide to date. It is currently the highest-grossing Broadway adaptation in US box office history, ahead of Grease (1978).
