The Illumination studio unveiled last night, during the Super Bowl, a new preview of the sequel to the film adaptation of the famous video game.

Who is the cutest? Baby Yoda or Yoshi?

There was a match last night, on the sidelines of the 2026 Super Bowl. A new teaser from Super Mario Galaxy the Movie was put online. New images that hint at the powers of Nintendo’s cult little dino, as he joins Mario on a new mission beyond the Mushroom Kingdom. We see Yoshi swallowing Kamek, the Magikoopa, confirming the return of his emblematic power of absorption, directly inherited from the video games.

This sequel brings together the voice cast (VO) of the first part: Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, Jack Black, Keegan-Michael Key and Kevin Michael Richardson. Two new voices join the universe: Brie Larson as Rosalina and Benny Safdie as Bowser Jr.

Directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, and written by Matthew Fogel, Super Mario Galaxy: The Movie continues to expand Nintendo’s cinematic universe, in tandem with Illumination.

Release scheduled for April 1, 2026 in France.
