7 at home: the cast disavows Stephen Collins
The Camden family dad has admitted to abusing three little girls in his past and has since been ostracized from Hollywood.
The stars of 7 at home, Beverly Mitchell, David Gallagher And Mackenzie Rosman – aka Lucy, Simon and Ruthie Camden – have just publicly disavowed Stephen Collinsthe father of the family in the nice series from the 1990s. Between 1973 and 1994, the actor sexually assaulted three teenage girls aged 11 to 14. The facts (admitted by Collins in 2014) being time-barred, he was never legally concerned.
Mackenzie Rosmanwho is 34 years old today but was less than 10 years old when she started the series, adds that the actor’s deviances did not reach the set: “When rewatching these episodes, it would be impossible not to talk about Stephen, because he played such an important role in the show and in our lives. But we want to be clear that we have not had any inappropriate experiences with Stephen.”
Beverly Mitchell states that “Stephen will never participate in the podcast, and we do not excuse or condone his behavior. Our hope with this podcast is to reconnect with you, our fans and relive a little 90s nostalgia and share our fondest memories of 7 at home.“
