One Piece season 3 already has a title and a teaser
The Straw Hats will face a civil war in Alabasta…
New direction for Luffy’s Straw Hats. Netflix is preparing the third season of One Piece and we already know that it will be called One Piece: The Battle of Alabasta.
Not really a surprise, since it is the next arc of the mangas and it is precisely towards this desert kingdom of Alabasta, birthplace of Princess Vivi, that our pirates left in the last episode.
According to the official synopsis: “A rebellion threatens to tear the nation apart, secretly fomented by one of the Seven Corsairs, the ruthless Sir Crocodile, and his underground syndicate Baroque Works, who seek to conquer Alabasta for themselves. In a season defined by unbreakable bonds and impossible choices, the Straw Hats will have to confront a looming civil war and a powerful privateer to save Vivi’s kingdom before it collapses into the sand Fans can expect fearsome new enemies and completely new worlds where the stakes have never been higher.”

Showrunners Joe Tracz and Ian Stokes already promise: “The Alabasta Saga is one of the most beloved stories in all of One Piece and one of our favorite arcs. So it’s a huge honor to bring it to the screen. Season 3 builds on everything we’ve done before to tell a war story that is both epic and emotional, spectacular and surprising. We can’t wait for fans to join us in Alabasta, where the stakes are high. huge…and the ducks too.”
This season 3 of One Piece is scheduled for 2027.
So to keep Monkey D. Luffy fans waiting, Netflix has planned a little interim gift: on September 29, 2026, the series will be enriched with a special episode animated in Lego. A two-part special, retracing the events of the first two seasons with humor and brick-built action. A sort of fun recap while waiting to leave for Abalasta.
Remember that Netflix also has the idea of remaking the One Piece anime. This future version currently developed by WIT Studio is teased below:
