In 1990, Jack Ryan, the hero imagined by Tom Clancy in his novels, made his film debut in the guise of Alec Baldwin. A logical decision since the film is a direct continuation of the four seasons of the series led by John Krasinski. He also reprises his role, alongside Wendell Pierce and Michael Kelly. Sienna Miller also joins the cast as MI6 agent Emma Marlowe.
