A real Central Perk of Friends will finally open in New York
More than 20 years after the end of the series … it was time!
Good news for Friends fans: after several pop-ups, Central Perk finally sets up permanently in New York, in the legendary Times Square district.
This coffee house will be a modernized version of the Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Joey and Phoebe lair. In the fall of 2025, he will offer craft cafes and dishes inspired by the series, imagined with the help of chef Tom Colicchio (Top Chef, winner of the James Beard Award). We will of course find the legendary orange sofa, derivative products and coffee mixtures to take away.

Located at the northeast corner of the 7th avenue and 47th rue, this new address becomes the second permanent perk central after that opened in Boston in 2023.
“Central Perk is one of the most iconic places in television history. After the incredible welcome to Boston, bringing it to Times Square is not only a logical stage, it is a homecoming,” said Peter Van Roden, EVP of Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences, in Variety. “There is no better place than New York to celebrate Friends’s inheritance.”
