A stranger in good place to become the next James Bond?
What if the next 007 was red? Scott Rose-Marsh would have passed recently attempts.
Not Tom Holland or Jacob Elordi or Harris Dickinson?
While James Bond fans scrutinize the slightest index on the next film signed Denis Villeneuve, a rumor comes to put an unexpected name in the tuxedo race: Scott Rose-Marsh.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, this 37 -year -old British actor was invited at the end of June to a reading test … with dialogues taken from Goldeneye (1995). Note that – if he was chosen at the end of the course – he would become the first 007 red.
The Quebec director, freshly committed, and the screenwriter Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders) would currently work on the script of this Bond 26, of which no release date has yet been set. The only instruction given to Rose-Marsh during the test would have been clear: Do not imitate a previous leap. Something to fuel speculations, especially if we consider that Amazon, a new owner of the franchise (acquired for around 1 billion dollars), seemed until then to want to rejuvenate the secret agent to seduce a younger audience.
For the moment, nothing official: neither Amazon MGM Studios, nor Scott Rose-Marsh have commented.
The actor was seen in the movies Code of Silence (2021) and Wolves of War (2022), as well as in the series The Outlaws,, Chloe And YR Amgueddfaand could also be one more name in the long list of contenders.
