After The Crown, Netflix wants to chronicle the Kennedy saga in series

A new creation that would revolve around the life of President John F. Kennedy.

While the Windsor saga will end in a few weeks, Netflix plans to focus on another cult dynasty: that of the Kennedy. The platform is developing a limited series based on the life of the American president John F. Kennedyannounces Variety.

The series will initially be based on the book JFK: Coming Of Age In The American Century, 1917-1956 by Fredrik Logevall (published in 2020). A definitive two-volume biography of the beloved and assassinated President. The first part examines his life from his birth to his time as a senator from Massachusetts. The second part of the biography (not yet released) will examine his rise to the White House.

According to sources, Netflix sees the series as an American version of The Crownwhich would tell the story of America throughout the life of JFK. It is not yet clear if this means that the series would follow the same model as The Crownnamely different actors depending on the era.
