Anne Hathaway will still be a Princess in spite of herself, 20 years later
The third part of the saga will soon begin filming.
It’s a fairy tale… for fans ofAnne Hathaway ! The actress will return to the role that revealed her in 2001: Princess in spite of herself 3 is made official and will soon go into production.
Anne Hathaway will return to play Mia Thermopolis, who became queen of Genovia, twenty years after the release of the last part, A princess wedding (2004). This time she will also be a producer.
It is Adele Lim (Crazy Rich Asians, Raya and the Last Dragon) who will direct and she is delighted: “As a huge fan of the original “Princess Diaries” film, I am beyond excited to be a part of making the third installment of this beloved franchise. We look forward to celebrating her core principles of girl power, joy and mentorship with audiences around the world.”
Remember that the saga has already brought in more than $300 million in global box office revenue, in two films.
Princess in spite of herself 3 does not yet have a release date.
