Apple TV+ teases its films and series coming in 2024
Masters of the Air, Palm Royale, Dick Turpin or The New Look… Here are all the new Apple TV+ features.
Recently, the strategy of the Apple TV+ platform has turned towards the creation of a prestigious catalog, combining ambitious series and art-house films released in cinemas combining critical and public success. This year promises to be particularly ambitious since the platform offers new programs like Masters of the Airproduced by Steven Spielberg And Tom Hanksor The New Look with Juliette Binoche.

Masters of the Air : already available
This new historical series focuses on the 8th squadron of the American Air Force during the Second World War. Their mission was to bomb Nazi weapons. She is also interested in the fraternity uniting the members of the squadron, led by Austin Butlersupported by Callum Turner, Anthony Boyle, Barry Keoghan And Ncuti Gatwa.
The New Look : already available
Ben Mendelsohn is Christian Dior and Juliette Binoche is Coco Chanel. The series created by Todd A. Kessler recounts the decline of the designer and the rise of her rival under the Nazi Occupation. The Imaginary Adventures of Dick Turpin : released March 1st
Money or your Life ! This series narrates the fantasized adventures of the bandit Dick Turpin, a real historical character from the 16th century. Manhunt : released March 15
Another historic work arrives on the platform. This traces the hunt for a seasoned investigator (Tobias Menzies) to find the assassin of Abraham Lincoln (Anthony Boyle). Adapted from the book Manhunt: The 12-Day Chase for Lincoln’s Killer by James Swanson, the series deals with the tension between the North and the South of the United States, fresh from the Civil War.
Palm Royale : released March 20
Lies, betrayal and tan: here are the key words of this new satirical comedy in the tradition of The White Lotus. Created by Abe Sylvia (In the eyes of Tammy Faye), she sets the stage Kristen Wiig in the role of an average woman desperate to integrate into the high society of a luxury seaside resort. Ricky Martin And Laura Dern are also there. Remember to wear sunscreen!
Loot – season 2: release April 3
Coming straight from the minds of Alan Yang (Master of None) And Matt Hubbard (Superstore), the first season of Loot recounted how billionaire Molly Novak (Maya Rudolph) gradually loses control after discovering her husband’s betrayal. Historic novelty in the Apple TV+ catalog, this series adapts the work of Stacy Schiff A Great Improvisation: Franklin, France, and the Birth of America. Michael Douglas steps into the boots of Benjamin Franklin and the plot focuses on the moment he convinced France to fund American democracy as well as the formation of diplomatic ties between the two countries.
The Big Door Prize – season 2 : released April 24
Created by David West Read (Welcome to Schitt’s Creek), this series tells how the daily life of a small town is turned upside down when a mysterious machine appears in the grocery store. This machine promises to reveal the true potential of every person. For one it’s a “superstar”, for the other “dancer”, in short, everyone finds themselves saddled with an extraordinary destiny. Lead by Chris O’Dowdthe second season arrives at the end of April.
Dark Maker : released May 8
Multiverses are all the rage, from Marvel to Everything Everywhere All At Onceand this series makes its contribution. Joel Edgerton plays a physicist who is suddenly thrust into an alternate version of his life. He will then travel through different realities to find his own and rejoin his family. Jennifer Connelly plays the role of his wife.
Presumed innocent : released June 14, 2024
Judicial thriller signed David E. Kelley (Big Little Lies)), Presumed Innocent tells how a brilliant prosecutor (Jake Gyllenhaal) finds himself accused of the murder of one of his colleagues with whom he has just had an affair.
Napoleon : shortly
The biopic of the emperor performed by Joaquin Phoenix and produced by Ridley Scott should be released in a director’s cut version. The filmmaker had also assured that there would be more space given to the character of Joséphine (Vanessa Kirby), determining in the trajectory of Bonaparte. There is no precise date yet for the release of this extended version, the film being subject to the media chronology in France. You will have to wait a few more months for it to be available on the platform.
Killers of the Flower Moon : shortly
No need to present the latest film of Martin Scorsese. Leonardo DiCaprio, Lily Gladstone And Robert DeNiro deliver a breathtaking performance in a cruel fresco on a little-known part of American History. The native Osage tribe is attacked on all sides by whites who want to appropriate the oil on their land, leading to a spiral of violence. The film is already available on Apple TV+ in the United States, but in France it will not be before 2025. Like its colleague Napoleon, Scorsese’s film must respect the media chronology specific to French territory. However, it will be available on VOD from February 15, 2024.
