Between Rome and Paris, Emily’s heart swings: trailer for season 5

The Netflix series will be more romantic than ever for the end-of-year holidays.

Prepare your bags: French glamor is coming back, but with an Italian twist!

Emily in Paris will swap the streets of Paris for the alleys of Rome on Netflix next Thursday, December 18, with the complete season 5 of 10 episodes.

Netflix unveiled the trailer on Wednesday, offering a taste of the Roman glamor of the series: evenings on a boat, magical road trip, sumptuous parties… and the love story between Emily and Marcello which promises to be hotter than ever.

In this season, Emily, now head of the Roman office of the Grateau Agency, must juggle the professional and emotional challenges of a new city.

“But just as everything seems to be settling in, a job idea goes awry, leading to romantic disappointments and professional setbacks. Looking for stability, Emily clings to her French lifestyle, until a dark secret threatens one of her closest relationships. By confronting conflicts with honesty, Emily emerges with deeper connections, renewed clarity, and a willingness to embrace new possibilities,” explains the official synopsis.

Lily Collins is of course back in the title role, surrounded by Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu (Sylvie Grateau), Ashley Park (Mindy Chen), Lucas Bravo (Gabriel), Samuel Arnold (Julien), Bruno Gouery (Luc), William Abadie (Antoine Lambert), Lucien Laviscount (Alfie), Eugenio Franceschini (Marcello), Thalia Besson (Genevieve), Paul Forman (Nico), Arnaud Binard (Laurent G), Minnie Driver (Princess Jane), Bryan Greenberg (Jake) and Michèle Laroque (Yvette).

Little reminder of season 4

At the end of the previous season, Emily flew to Rome with Marcello for a romantic getaway… which quickly turned professional. Sylvie arrived to turn this trip into a business opportunity and convince Marcello’s family to entrust their business to Agence Grateau. Emily had promised Marcello that she was coming for him, but ultimately it was her vision for the company that convinced Marcello’s mother… placing Emily in charge of the Rome office.
